Lauren is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University and a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences from Baylor University. Currently working toward her Registered Play Therapy (RPT) certification and trained in EMDR®, Lauren is dedicated to expanding her expertise in child and adolescent therapy.

With a diverse background that includes experience as a toddler teacher, summer camp counselor, and substitute school counselor, Lauren has developed a deep understanding of child and adolescent development. Her experience as a clinical intern at Family Houston, one of Houston’s most well-known nonprofit organizations, further solidified her ability to effectively connect with young clients and their families in various settings.

Her passion lies in empowering young individuals to recognize their strengths and navigate life’s challenges with confidence. She also works closely with parents, helping them implement strategies to support their children’s emotional and behavioral growth.

Lauren is newly married and enjoys exploring the world with her spouse, embracing new experiences together.

Lauren’s extensive background in education, counseling, and play therapy provides her with a unique ability to support children and adolescents in both clinical and real-world settings. Her warm, engaging approach fosters a safe space for exploration and growth, ensuring that young clients feel heard and empowered. Whether working with children, teens, or parents, Lauren’s compassionate and creative methods make therapy both effective and meaningful.
